I engaged virtually in two 45-minute sessions a week, focusing on English and Math, with a 5th-grade student from an under-resourced community, matched through the non-profit organization’s partnership with LAUSD and AUSD. When planning lessons, I encouraged a holistic development centered around mentorship using social-emotional learning practices to bridge the learning gap caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Women in STEM Empowered Operations Lead

WISE is an employee-run group within Amgen that fosters camaraderie among female staff working in STEM roles. I worked with the group’s co-presidents and other members of leadership to meet the Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging goals set by the company. I drove monthly meetings with a 20-member leadership team, and summarized and followed up on action items related to planning talks, meetups, and book club sessions. I also assisted in organizing attendance at the AnitaB Grace Hopper Celebration 2022.

I later became a senior research analyst for large-cap companies, and updated members on developments at large-camp companies, including Amgen, to determine the best companies to pitch

I worked in the electrical department to ship goods to LEDCs including Zambia and Lesotho. I log all goods in inventory to manage stock.
